Magic Window

Grainy 35mm film photo from 1975. A construction worker is installing a large glass window pane on the ground floor of a brick house. Through the clear glass, instead of seeing the interior of the room, we see a view looking down from a skyscraper at night onto a neon Tokyo metropolis. The reflection in the glass, however, correctly shows the sunny suburban garden behind the photographer. Visual anomaly, subtle horror, analog texture.
